Pershore

29th August - 5 September 2026

Pershore is an attractive market town on the River Avon, surrounded by picturesque villages. If the Lord will, Pershore ecclesia plans a week-long Campaign from Saturday 29 August 2026 to share the living waters of His Word.

This year marks 500 years since William Tyndale first published his English New Testament - an ideal anchor for our Campaign to encourage people to read the Bible for themselves.

We begin with a stall at the Bank Holiday Pershore Plum Festival, which attracts around 20,000 visitors, offering free Bibles and family activities. During the week, the Bible Today exhibition will visit surrounding villages, alongside lunchtime seminars and a special evening talk. The week concludes with the Main Exhibition in the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday. Support with assembling and packing up the exhibitions would be much appreciated.

Royal Mail will distribute 11,000 leaflets in advance but a key focus for the week will be billing the area again. As many of the villages are picturesque with houses spread far apart, expect a fair amount of walking.

Afternoons during the week will see us coming together as brothers and sisters in our ecclesial hall. This will allow us to share the Daily Readings.

We’re also planning Daily Bible Study Sessions to encourage us and grow our understanding of God’s Word.

We pray God may bless us with a joyful, faith-building week as we share the light of His Truth with Pershore and the surrounding villages.

Accommodation will be with brothers and sisters in the Pershore ecclesia, but we would also welcome day visitors.
